Hi, I’m Nichelle.

My flower journey began in 2021, when I started growing just a handful of varieties at home. In early 2024, my partner Tim and I expanded our backyard in West Seattle with five new garden beds dedicated to a cut-flower garden. We added water access, built a shed, and set up a greenhouse to support seed starting. The house is in an old apple orchard called Little City Farms, and we grow organic specialty flowers that are often hard or not possible to find in stores or nurseries.

I support my flower habit by working as a Lead Product Designer at McAfee, but am lucky enough to work from home. When I’m not gardening, I try to climb both outside and inside as much as possible.

Today, we grow more than 60 varieties of flowers, and I’m excited to offer a small flower subscription to share these blooms with others. One-time bouquets will also be available for those who prefer a single arrangement.

My hope is that these flowers bring as much joy to others as they have to me. 🌞🌜

& this is Tim.

Tim is the builder behind the scenes and my partner in this flower-growing journey. As a carpenter and superintendent for a Seattle-area home remodeling construction company, he knows how to turn ideas into reality—and our garden is full of his handiwork, from the beds to the greenhouse. Tim is also incredibly great with taking care of the seedlings and is always reading about what each plant needs and nurturing them. When he’s not building or growing things, he’s usually out riding BMX or planning the next project.
